Hi all, I am a professional framing contractor, and recently put a exposed fastener metal roof on my house prior to having solar installed. The company I hired ended up putting some brackets with screws in the roof that have no purpose. Not only are they unsightly each bracket has four screws that hold them in place. They are refusing to repair the roof, not sure if I should just stop trying to hash it out or just file a claim with their insurance company.
I failed to mention that the solar company admitted they made a mistake, and the brackets should not of been installed.
If it is exposed fastener the affected panels shouldn’t be that hard for them to replace. Did you pay then?
