Price based upon date of Loss

Farm Bureau is refusing to budge on updating pricing for a job we recently did. The price list they used is from April 20th (date of loss - which I understand). Property owner contacted them 7/18. Insurance Co inspection done 7/23, Insurance Co completed their estimate 8/15. We signed contract with the property owner on 9/9. They say it is their “stance” that they do no update the pricing. This is the first time I have encountered this with an insurance company. Have even had the property owner contact them and let them know that he feels they should pay the current pricing. The project manager originally didn’t have the insurance paperwork and was given the go ahead by the property owner so the property owner is on the hook (already paid us). Anyone had a way to convince insurance or have any suggestions? :slight_smile:
