Mushroom wood shingle roof

Will be re-roofing a mushroom style wood shingle roof soon. Looks like the one here:

I have a subcontractor who specializes in this type work. I want to pay him a fair wage however, I don’t want to be overcharged. Does anybody have any idea what a fair price per square would be? I know there are a lot of variables but just looking for a starting point. Roof is 10/12 and about as detailed as the one in picture.
Thanks

Price varies greatly on a number of factors Mr.Frodo, it’s next to impossible to estimate over the internet. Your best way of understanding the price for your area/specific job is to get at least three estimates.

With all the work involved with that, I would say about 12-1500 a square for labor.

The steam bending alone may cost more than that.

It is gonna be pretty expensive.
T & M maybe?

T&M on that could kill ya.

Find someone that does it, schedule 3-5 years in advance, and get a solid price in writing.

Trying to bid that could kill the roofer…
T&M is your best bet for a high quality job, that is a very detailed roofline and fairly complicated.

The roofer that does this kind of work will know how to bid it.

These guys would know how to bid it.
