Metal W-Valley at intersecting roof libes

Just curious if this would be a good way to install/cut this metal valley? Any advice would be helpful. Thanks

You have to install a course or two of shingles on the left side first. Don’t forget the step flashing as well.

Use clips on the hem, do not nail through the valley metal. The valley should be under the underlayment from the intersecting sides, not on top.

A better way is to install 3 or so courses to the wall and step shingles. Then begin your valley metal on one even plane, dumping the water onto these courses. Just like any undershot. Make you put a nice clean apron flashing at the bottom of valley where it transitions to last step shingle.
