Liquidating Roofing Company

Hello,

I was hoping someone can point me in the right direction. We recently had a relative pass away that owned a roofing company in Metro Detroit. With his passing, the equipment will now be liquidated (auction, third party, etc.). It includes multiple trucks, trailers, lifts, tools, etc. The family doesn’t have a lot of resources to try and sell the equipment through craigslist or similar. Do you know any reputable services that will assist in selling the equipment?

Thanks!

Talk to the lead employees, sell to them on contract and receive % of net till paid off.

Good luck with that. Who checks those books and job cost reports?

I’d think it’s kinda like farming. Easier to slide in to an existing operation than start out new…
