I’m new to this site, but it seems you guys might be able to help me out. I am in the process of buying a house with new roof. The previous owners chose the worst shingle color and I’m trying to figure out how I can fix it for the lower cost. It’s a red brick home and they chose a clashing red shingle. I would love to not have to paint the brick so that they upkeep stays low with unpainted brick. If I chose to just replace the shingles and not the felt underneath would that be ok? The felt should be just fine since the roof is less than 3 years old but I don’t know much about this process.
Appreciate any input!
