Another dumb question

We just had a huge thunder shower and some of the felt and wood under layment got wet. I got a tarp up quickly but the wind blew some of it off. Do i have to wait for eveything to dry or can i continue shingling

Let it dry. The wood may have absorbed too much and will begin to swell and buckle.

The better option is to replace the wood if you think it got more than a mild spray permeating the material.

Harder than it looks, isn’t it?

There is a lot of liability in our hands when we are taking care of a customers home, never knowing for sure what the weather may do.

It is definaetly not a one man job. I would never try this on my house but it is a small detached garage so i figured i give it a try.

let it dry.
itll be allrite.
