1099 Inspector penalized if miss mandatory weekly meeting

#1

I am a roof inspector considered to be a 1099 independent contractor. I am required to only work for my company and if I miss a mandatory weekly Monday meeting I lose all leads for that week. If an adjuster or homeowner needs to meet me on site during the roofing companies mandatory meeting time I cannot do so without being penalized by the roofing company. Even if I’m sick the roofing company strips all leads from that week. Is this legal? As a independent contractor required to work exclusively for ONE roofing company how can I be financially penalized by missing a meeting that I’m legally not required to attend?
