Supplement for Underlayment

#1

I am a young sales manager who have just recently starting writing estimates and supplements through xactimate. While looking at a insurance xactimate for one of my upcoming jobs, I noticed that the insurance paid for synthetic paper for the underlayment.
I am used to seeing either 15lb or 30lb felt paper.
Most roofs that we are replacing have synthetic paper and we also put down synthetic paper.

Does this mean that I should be putting the line item for underlayment as synthetic paper on my xactimates
when sending in my supplements?
Are most insurance companies willing to accept that supplement?

I appreciate any help. I am a little new to this area of work and am trying to learn as much as possible.

They should pay for what is on the existing roof. If they paid for synthetic felt, be happy, it pays quite a bit more than 30 lb felt.
