Solid shingle sealant strip

#1

hey yall,
just wanted to pass along the problems that are accuring do to the solid stickem strip on alot of
shingles.
the spotted strip is in spots for a reason, which is to allow water to escape out the bottom when it enters at the sides.

so if your layin these shingles with the solid strip i would recomend not warrantyin them.

i have run into several new roofs that are traping
water inbetween shingles and rusting out the nails.

i cant beleave some manufacters have forgotten about this very important spotted sealant strip.

gweedo.

I’ve been dealing with these problems with OCs for over 10 years now.

10 years ago, they told me I didn’t know what I was talking about?!

10 years,

cant beleive i still
see em doin it.

i dont warranty em, and people dont care.

works for me.
