CAN ANY TELL ME HOW MUCH A SQUARE TO PAY MY SUB CREWS? I JUST STARTED MY COMPANY AND I AM NOT SURE IF IT IS TOO LOW/HIGH $40 SQ ON/OFF $10 MORE IF STEP $12 PLY

That vaires by region, and state and what application, and trade, site condition, expertise / quality expectation.

i dont recommend a new company sub out work. you dont yet know what your overhead and profit margin will be, so you dont know how much you can afford to pay. are they covered under thier own comp policy? if not you will end up paying comp on them when the paper trail catches you (and it will).

$40 a square? I don’t know what your 20 is, as that does impact prices.
But I could sell my own job and I’d be cutting my own throat @ $80 a
sq…
I guess what I am saying is-- what do you expect from your subs? the ability to breathe?

I think that’s a little too much , try $25-30 on and 25-30 off . I’d assume your carting away debris and purchasing shingles . Are they installing new underlayment for that as well ? Are they insured ?
