Attic Truss Design for High R Value

#1

I am a first time designer/owner/builder and I’m wondering what will the bottom chord on an attic roof truss be like to get a high r value (40-50) and still be able to have a floor? I plan on using blown cellulose. Thanks, Jon

Impossible, your best bet would be to spary in an SPF foam insulation iin the floor joists. That will give you the highest R-Value for the space.

Ask Aaron for the exact R-Value for the sizes.
