Product looks interesting. The web site says, “The last roof you’ll ever need”. I’m willing to bet this roof can’t last 150 to 200 years like a properly installed slate roof can. Which by the way you could say about Slate, “The roof that last’s for Generations”. = 0

So how long has this product been field tested and in which climates?

Best thing since sliced bread.

they slice bread now?

The material we use has been tested and proven for overt forty years now!! It was/is used on signage, boat hulls, satellites, and many other applications which require such high durability.

As far as “The Last Roof You Will Ever Need”, you are right, slate will last forever, however your other parts of the house wont. If you are walking on weathered slate, it will crack and crumble. You can walk on the ArmorLite roof all day long, everyday and no damage at all!!

ArmorLite has been tested in temperatures from -40f to 130F. It has also been tested in 140mph winds, and NO PROBLEM AT ALL! We are working on our newest test which is 220mph hurricane winds in Dade County.

Looking for Dade County approval I guess.
